DEPTH OF FIELD IN PHOTOGRAPHY
Depth of field is the amount of an image is visible clearly or blurry. With a deep depth of field, most of the image should be clearly visible without blur. With a shallow depth of field, only the subject will be visible. This is a particularly useful tool that can create much more attention and draw to a specific part of an image.

CAPTURING ACTION AND MOTION IN PHOTOGRAPHY
If you are experiencing unintended motion blur, there are many things that you can do to ruduce the blurriness of your photos. Using a faster shutter speed will reduce motion blur. You can also change the Iso and get less motion blur. But sometimes, you want to use motion blur as an effect. In this case, having a low shutter speed will help to add more blur.

PHOTOMONTAGE a la DAVID HOCKNEY
David Hockney is a well-known and talented pop artist. His style is exceedingly popular and well liked. He used rectangular shapes to create a mosaic like image. This style works well because it adds something interesting to a rather standard image or head shot. I like his art because it is simple yet unique.

ONE LINE ART
Pablo Picassos one line style of art is a very interesting take on simplicity and minimalism. I really like the way that he can capture the entirety of the image with only one line. In this image, he was able to put both a bird and a face with one line. This style truly shows that even with the most basic resources, you can still make an interesting piece.

Final Summative Evaluation
Born on October 9th, Squidward Quincy Tentacles made his first public appearance on May 1, 1999, in the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants. He was SpongeBob's polar opposite in the show and had a significant role to play in numerous plot lines. Squidward was created by Stephen Hillenburg and voiced by Rodger Bumpass. In Rodger's own words, Squidward is a "very nasally, monotone kind of guy." He enjoyed playing the character because of the wide range of emotions Squidward goes through.
ARTIST PROFILE
Jasper Johns is a popular pop artist from America. He was born May 15, 1930, in Augusta, Georgia. His representations of the American flag as well as other U.S.-based themes became well known in popular art. "There are no accidents in my work. It sometimes happens that something unexpected occurs - the paint may run - but then I see that it has happened, and I have the choice to paint it again or not. And if I don't, then the appearance of that element in the painting is no accident." -Jasper Johns
Julian OpieOpies work is made with matte colours and minimalism. He uses light and white colours to make the highlights and glare points.
There is an exceedingly sharp contrast between colours and thick, bold lines. This makes his work's key points stand out. |

Raster graphics use pixels and are best for detailed images like photos. The choice depends on the intended use and desired level of detail and scalability.
